Monarch Aviation performs specialized services for several state agency departments, including Florida\u2019s Department of Agriculture, Florida Marine Patrol, Fish & Wildlife, and mosquito control divisions, as well as the Eglin and Tyndall AFB aero clubs. <\/a> Friends of Army Aviation (FOAA) located in Ozark, AL, a tax-exempt organization of 150+ members, would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Carl Everitt and staff at Monarch Aviation for the avionics upgrade made on our UH-1 Huey. Carl and team did a tremendous job of replacing the Huey\u2019s 50+ year old military radios with more current civilian radio counter parts. These included a Garmin GNS 430, two VHF NAVCOMs, audio panel, Status transponder, and an avionics console face plate. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In order to meet FOAA\u2019s busy schedule, Carl worked more than normal duty hours by working on weekends and after hours. Carl diagnosed my messed up encoder, and replaced it with a serviceable one he had in stock. He completed the work promptly, and ensured that the unit was now working properly.
