Friends of Army Aviation (FOAA) located in Ozark, AL, a tax-exempt organization of 150+ members, would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Carl Everitt and staff at Monarch Aviation for the avionics upgrade made on our UH-1 Huey. Carl and team did a tremendous job of replacing the Huey’s 50+ year old military radios with more current civilian radio counter parts. These included a Garmin GNS 430, two VHF NAVCOMs, audio panel, Status transponder, and an avionics console face plate.

In order to meet FOAA’s busy schedule, Carl worked more than normal duty hours by working on weekends and after hours. Carl diagnosed my messed up encoder, and replaced it with a serviceable one he had in stock. He completed the work promptly, and ensured that the unit was now working properly. He also found and repaired another problem interfering with the flight controls while working on the encoder. If you need avionics work in the area, I highly recommend.
